Important Details
Just a few things to know about getting to the island, what to wear, and what to know before booking accommodations.
Getting to the venue
The day of the wedding, get to Casco Bay Lines at 56 Commercial Street by 2:15PM (a little earlier is even better!)
We’ll have a dedicated ferry for wedding guests boarding at 2:30PM that you can hop on. Look out for a boat called “Aucocisco”.
Peaks is just a twenty-minute ferry ride away, and Greenwood Garden (aka the venue) is a five-minute walk from the dock when you arrive on the island. Just go up the hill to the stop sign, take a right, and walk straight.
What to wear to the wedding
We’re looking for guests to dress semi-formal — suits and cocktail dresses. Ties are optional, unless you own a bolo tie. We love a good bolo tie. Vibrant colors and festive patterns are highly encouraged.
The weather on Peaks Island in September is usually comfortable and crisp. Expect temperatures in the 60s and 70s during the day and cooler evenings in the 50s.
Where to stay
We have a lot to say about this. So we put together a list of hotel options and booking advice over on our Travel page. Take a look before you book!
Can’t wait to see ya
Whether you can attend the whole weekend or just the day of, we’re happy to have you there.
